Well, there's something you don't see everyday. I'm a fan of things that have a mixture of light and darkness to it if it's blend in really good, and this sir or madam, is one of them. I like the lighting and the shadows done in this drawing and how it makes this picture cute, but at the same time dark, but not creepy dark. I could see this in a manga store and someone reading it. If it already is one, then where can I get it! The dolls also help increase the feel of the picture as well as a person's curiousity about why the dolls are there and who this girl/woman is, along with her backgroun. Good job!!
First off, you've done a great job with the overall design and layout of the piece. You've got a strong triad going, with the central figure connecting the busy bottome half of the images, with the solid colors of the top of the piece. The black and white repeats throughout the whole work, which agian, lends itself to the unity of the work. The over all design of the central figure is amazing, using the classic, mask-to-the-side look found in the festival goers in japanese works, which looks amazing here with the skull mask. The detail work in the smaller figures, as well as the larger one looks amazing! All and all, this is a fantastic work my friend, deffinatly going to watch you! Keep up the amazing work!
